Hand written invitations Ms. Talulah will send,
to gather together your dearest friends.
Ms.Talulah will empty her shelves of fine things old and new,
then arrange them near her window with the finest view.
The morning will be busy preparing savory morsels for you to eat,
now everything is ready with the table, oh so neat.
White lace, bone china, and sparkling silver decorate the theme,
Ms. Talulah hopes you and your guests will be ready for finger sandwiches, scones, and Double Devon cream.
There is a moment of quiet, then Ms. Talulah hears a knock,
your friends have arrived politely at 2 o’clock!
Fancy party dresses, and Victorian hats for playing dress up,
Oh how beautiful you will look holding your teacup.
Time for tea and blessed company we yearn,
All the while, Ms. Talulah makes manners fun to learn.
